Hi, one of my favorite Christmas traditions I remember as a child is my grandma always buying a coconut and putting it under the Christmas tree. On Christmas day, you break it open and drink the milk. It's supposed to bring you good luck for the coming year. My grandma passed away a few years ago but I still carry on the tradition with my family.

My favorite Christmas tradition is doing a Chinese auction - everyone brings one wrapped gift (from a price range we agreed upon beforehand), and we draw numbers to determine picking order. You can either choose to open a new gift or steal one someone already opened! The person that was stolen from then decides whether to steal from someone else or open a new one. (You never wanna be the one with the gift nobody wants!!)

Hi Cheryl! A big congratulations to lucky Ashley!... When I was a kid, we always watched March of the Wooden Soldiers on Thanksgiving. I still love that one. My guys watch A Christmas Story, all day long on Christmas...I think I know all the words! Have a wonderful holiday! Hugs, Paulette =D

We have a ton of favorite holiday traditions...but one of my favorites is... that every year my daughter and my husband make a gingerbread house... I love that its something they do together without me being involved at all...special time for them! and I get to sneak a bunch of CUTE photos...which get added to our holiday scrapbook in the section just for their gingerbread houses! :O)

One of my favorite traditions is making ornaments--there's a 12 days of Christmas set from the 50s that my mom and I remake every few years out of salt dough, and I love painting and rekmaking it.:)

Adorable items! One of my favorite traditions is something we call Secret Angel. On Thanksgiving, we hang up stockings for everyone in the family. From Thanksgiving to Christmas, we wrap small gifts and put them in the stockings. Kind of like a secret Santa. Thanks for the opportunity!

My family's favorite Christmas tradition in decorated shortbread cookies we make from scratch every year. I can remember it taking days when I was a kid to make and decorate enough to appease my dad and last through Christmas!
